Who or what is robo-mina?  Soaping the box on AUTOTUNE (because this is my website, and I CAN, mwah ha ha)

For all you haters out there, I put forth the following for your consideration:

ITEM 1:

ITEM 2:

If making music means you might happen to just possibly, use technology--like--a computer!  or a mixing board, or pedals, or effects, or other tools (like auto-tune), I say, go for it.

ITEM 3:

Anyone who is willing put time and energy into a creative endeavor, has the right to guide that process as they see fit.  Sure, we've all got a right to our opinion, but if you're not actually making/recording/contributing to a process or a project, you're just commenting on stuff that other people are doing, which doesn't seem terribly meaningful.  So you can bemoan the demise of talent, or the soulless direction popular music is taking, OR you could sing something! bang something! jump up and down! use auto-tune, don't use autotune... don't just waste your breath complaining about other people, write a song about it!

ITEM 4:

With all due respect to Jay-Z, if I were RAPPING, I probably wouldn't have to use auto-tune either :p

ITEM 5:

Thanks to my high school choir director, I not only have debilitatingly low self-esteem, but I also have been cursed with the inability to listen to music (especially my own) without hearing only that which is out of tune.  When you listen to my music (which has not only been auto-tuned (to my great relief), but has been cut and pasted so much that it's seen more surgery than a Korean soap star), know only this--I could have auto-tuned MORE.

q.e.d!

Or something like that.
